We are looking for Engineers for a contract opportunity lasting up to 1 year. Job Summary: EngineerThis person will act as primary or backup responsible engineer (RE) for one or more systems being replaced by the Digital I&C Upgrade project. They will be responsible for understanding the aims and goals of the overall DI&C project and the scope of changes to their assigned system and interfaces with other systems. The RE will investigate the current design basis and document the requirements applicable to the system being replaced. They will review system specific design and digital life-cycle documents by the system vendor and provide intrusive oversight of the engineering change package preparation by the selected Engineer of Choice. They will perform in-progress reviews and all scheduled Owner Acceptance Reviews for engineering products associated with their assigned scope. They will interface with site stakeholders and ensure acquired input is addressed. They will participate in the various testing activities associated with the system. They will follow implementation of their assigned scope, including interfacing with the installer, providing field support, providing required updates to facilitate installation, and coordinating modification return to service. Experience & Qualifications

  • Recently qualified to perform/review Design Changes at a US nuclear utility
  • Recently qualified to perform/review 10CFR50.59 screens and/or evaluations at a US nuclear utility
  • Previous experience performing digital upgrades with a DCS platform at a US nuclear utility
  • Recently qualified to prepare/review specifications at a US nuclear utility
  • Recently qualified to prepare/review calculations at a US nuclear utility
  • Recently qualified to the Standard Design Process at a US nuclear utility
  • Recently qualified to perform Digital Design Changes at a US nuclear utility
  • Completed a Pressurized Water Reactor Systems Training course under an INPO accredited training program
  • Previous experience with Ovation version 3.5 or later
Qualifications / Education / ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have the following qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years design engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
