Radiological Work Planning and Program Support responsibilities primarily include:
Develop or provide technical review of project specific Radiological Hazard
Screening Forms (RHSF)
Develop or provide technical review of project specific ALARA Management
Worksheets (AMW)
Develop or provide technical review of project specific Radiological Work Permits
(RWP)
Develop or provide technical review of project specific Clearance Survey Plans
(CSP

Radiological Work Planning and Program Support Project

Develop or provide technical review of provide Work Packages and Procedures
implementing radiological controls
Participation in work planning sessions, job site walk-downs and work evolution
observations.
Conduct, participate, or provide technical review of In Progress ALARA Reviews
(IPAR)
Provide radiological controls representation for project senior management within the
Hazard Review Board (HRB) to validate team readiness for high-hazard work
activities.
Develop or provide technical review of project/program tracking and trending,
including senior management section 2 charts and summaries.
Develop or provide technical review of project DOE Stoplight metrics and
presentation
Develop or provide technical review of project/program ALARA reports
Develop or provide technical review of project/program DOE-RCM radiological
controls status presentation
Develop or provide technical review into biweekly OSIH-DOE status presentation.
Review and provide comments to SOW Functional Area checklists.
Review project/program statements of work (SOW) for accuracy and adequacy.
Provide support for company and site emergency preparedness organization as the
Single Point of Contact (SPOC) or other assigned duties for drills and/or actual site
events.
Develop or provide operational support of project drill packages as controller /
evaluator.
Providing technical guidance and oversight as a Radiological Company Technical
Authority (CTA) for Compliance and Interpretation as assigned by the RPPM,
providing the following programmatic support activities:
o Revise and/or review CPCC-00174, CPCCo Radiation Protection Program as
required.
o Revise and/or review CPCC-00175, CPCCo Radiological Control Manual as
required.
o Develop, revise, and implement authorized limit/exemption request changes in
conjunction with the Hanford Radiological Controls Forum.
o Develop, revise, and implement technical basis for volumetric clearance criteria in
conjunction with the Hanford Radiological Controls Forum.
o Mentoring to Project RadCon Managers, Rad Engineers, and First Line RadCon
Managers
