We are seeking an E&O Systems Engineer/ASIC Realization Specialist to partner with Product Realization Teams (PRTs) and process area owners with Microsystems Engineering, Sciences and Applications (MESA) facilities and with customer PRTs on the development and delivery of new microelectronics products for nuclear weapon (NW) programs.
On any given day, you may be called on to:
•Work closely with PRT Leads and customers to identify ASIC demand requirements and schedules
•Develop and track schedules and budgets for ASIC deliverables
•Actively manage ASIC product through Post-Fab Processing to meet delivery schedules.
Schedule and administer product and process reviews:
•Create and submit product defining drawings for review and approval
**This position is eligible for telecommuting and the selected applicant must live within a reasonable distance for commuting to the assigned work location when necessary. The selected applicant must be able to work onsite 50% of the time.
Qualifications We Require (Minimum Qualifications):
•Bachelor's degree in relevant STEM or business field plus five (5) or more years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Experience in the development, production, test, qualification, and/or failure analysis of integrated circuits
•Ability to acquire and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance.
Qualifications We Desire (Desired Qualifications):
•Certification as a Project Manager, Project Planner, or similar
•Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, including proven abilities in effective leadership, negotiation, delegation, and conflict resolution in diverse team environments
•Familiarity with one or more of the following areas:
o defect analysis
o realization of NW War Reserve (WR) products
•Ability to balance multiple, sometimes conflicting, priorities
•Active DOE Q security clearance
