[Construction Engineer] Engineer I & II

E2 Consulting Engineers, Inc. (E2) is a professional services firm established in 1988 specializing in a full spectrum of engineering services including, project engineering and design, federal base operations and infrastructure support services, gas pipeline construction and inspection services, environmental consulting and remediation, and information technology services. Under general supervision, combines fundamental engineering concepts and principles with a growing familiarity of Laboratory engineering best practices to perform basic to moderately complex engineering tasks, from the design stage through review, procurement, manufacture, installation, test, and operation.

Responsibilities
Analyzes data and performs engineering calculations. Develops less complicated designs of specific parts, components or phases of a project.
Develops and documents basic to moderately complex engineering design solutions.
Provides technical direction to draftspersons, designers, engineering associates and technicians, as assigned.
Participates in or leads aspects of procurement, manufacturing, installation, testing, and operation.
Assists in the development of cost estimates, as well as the monitoring of budgetary obligations.
With review and approval of supervisor, propose resources, ensuring conformance to specifications and cost/time constraints.
Serves on safety panels, review committees, and other subcommittees as assigned.
May participate in technical conferences and publication.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Abides by and is responsible for performing all duties in accordance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and practices pertinent to this position.

Qualifications
Bachelorís in an applicable Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited institution with 2+ years of fundamental engineering experience, or a Masterís or PhD in an applicable Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited institution.
Professional knowledge of theories, concepts, principles, and methodology for the engineering discipline. Possess ability to perform basic to moderately complex engineering design solutions and techniques.
