[Project Controls] Task Order Project Manager/STI 1992

Spectra Tech has an immediate need for a Task Order Project Manager in Idaho Falls, ID.

Manage and oversee all aspects of a large task order development project including milestones, scope, schedule, cost, and resources. Provide managerial leadership to a team of project controls, project engineers/specialists, and other disciplines to ensure successful and timely delivery of task orders and supporting documentation. In coordination with field management and teams, plan, execute, manage, and report on the full scope of a task order project. Integrate and communicate with managers of related projects. Responsible for the development of assigned project baselines and oversight of project execution within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. Lead the response to audits of task order proposals and project management related systems. Support and lead the development of project management, EVMS, project controls and other related systems, and perform other project management and project controls related duties as assigned.

Must be familiar with, and comply with, all relevant health and safety requirements. Must be knowledgeable of emergency action policies and procedures, methods for reporting/resolving unsafe work practices or conditions to available cognizant professionals.

In addition, the successful candidate knows and complies with environmental, safety, health, and pollution prevention regulations, policies, and procedures for this position. Ensures own safety and safety of coworkers. Reports unsafe work conditions to immediate manager. Ensures that the five core functions of the Integrated Safety Management System are understood and applied when performing job duties. Ensures that operational excellence is achieved through appropriate implementation of conduct of operations.
Position responsibilities include the following:

In coordination with field management and teams, plan, execute, manage, and report on the full scope of a task order project. Coordinate and organize project team to ensure proper skill mix to accomplish defined tasks. Integrate and communicate with managers of related projects. Interface with support organizations to accomplish task order project scope within defined time and cost constraints. (40%)
Manage and oversee all aspects of a large task order development project including milestones, scope, schedule, cost, and resources. Provide managerial leadership to a team of project controls, project engineers/specialists, and other disciplines to ensure successful and timely delivery of task orders and supporting documentation. (40%)
Lead the response to audits of task order proposals and project management related systems. (15%)
Support and lead the development of project management, EVMS, project controls and other related systems. (5%)
Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's Degree. At least 5 years relevant experience. Experience managing projects or technical scope on the INL site or another site in the Department of Energy complex preferred. Experience managing Capital Asset projects under the Department of Energy or related Federal Agency highly desired. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required.
