[Planner] Work Control Planner/Technical Reviewer

Provide support in preparation, review and issuance of large and/or complex equipment and/or system modification, corrective maintenance, and preventative maintenance work packages:
• Provide maintenance work package technical review.
• Analyze time and material requirements for work activity. Prepare detailed material takeoffs/specifications for Bill of Materials and work activity labor estimates.
• Prepare, review and issue corrective maintenance work packages.
• Develop and issue preventative maintenance records and work packages.
• Prepare and/or review efficient and specific instructions for isolation, containment de-energization of various mechanical, physical, electrical, chemical energy systems or radiological sources according to established procedures.
• Monitor technical quality of work package reviewers.
Services shall be provided using SRNS processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRNS.
Bachelor’s degree or 8 years work package experience. Practical experience in work control, materials management, civil/structural mechanical maintenance, or related areas.
• Monitor technical quality of work package reviews.
• Experience in work control planning in Nuclear or Waste Solidification.
• Practical knowledge of Waste Solidification facilities and operations.
• Experience in the development, review and issuance of work control packages.
• Interpersonal skills as to establish and cultivate positive working relationships and interfaces with both internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated. knowledge of DOE, SRR, and SRS operating policies, rules, and regulations preferred.
• Experience with Asset Suite, EDWS and Microsoft Word is required. Experience with Puridiom is desired
Candidate must be able to perform weekly field walk-downs of the job site for engineering work being performed. These walk-downs may involve constructions sites with uneven surfaces and work in progress, walking for distances over a half mile, climbing ladders to access remote areas, dressing out in protective clothing, and environments where a respirator is required.
Previous SRS experience and working knowledge of SRNS processes and procedures is preferred
