JOB TITLE: WORK CONTROL PLANNER/TECHNICAL REVIEWER

Provide support in preparation, review and issuance of large and/or complex equipment and/or system modification, corrective maintenance, and preventative maintenance work packages:
Provide maintenance work package technical review.
Analyze time and material requirements for work activity. Prepare detailed material takeoffs/specifications for Bill of Materials and work activity labor estimates.
Prepare, review and issue corrective maintenance work packages.
Develop and issue preventative maintenance records and work packages.
Prepare and/or review efficient and specific instructions for isolation, containment de-energization of various mechanical, physical, electrical, chemical energy systems or radiological sources according to established procedures.
Monitor technical quality of work package reviewers.
Services shall be provided using SRNS processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRNS.
Bachelors degree or 8 years work package experience. Practical experience in work control, materials management, civil/structural mechanical maintenance, or related areas.
Monitor technical quality of work package reviews.
Experience in work control planning in Nuclear or Waste Solidification.
Practical knowledge of Waste Solidification facilities and operations.
Experience in the development, review and issuance of work control packages.
Interpersonal skills as to establish and cultivate positive working relationships and interfaces with both internal and external customers.
Demonstrated. knowledge of DOE, SRR, and SRS operating policies, rules, and regulations preferred.
Experience with Asset Suite, EDWS and Microsoft Word is required. Experience with Puridiom is desired
Candidate must be able to perform weekly field walk-downs of the job site for engineering work being performed. These walk-downs may involve constructions sites with uneven surfaces and work in progress, walking for distances over a half mile, climbing ladders to access remote areas, dressing out in protective clothing, and environments where a respirator is required.
Previous SRS experience and working knowledge of SRNS processes and procedures is preferred
