Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Business Requirements Analyst (Tech Support Specialist 4, CLIN-11) opportunity for our customer in Aiken, SC to support the Savannah River Site.

Per diem for those who qualify.

WORK REQUIREMENTS:
The purpose of this position is to provide support for National Nuclear Security Association (NNSA) Capital Projects (NCP) mission. The primary focus will be to provide support the Plutonium (Pu) Sustainment Program and National Nuclear Security Association (NNSA) Capital Projects (NCP) mission being performed by Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS). The primary focus of these support efforts will be to provide IT planning and programmatic and project management support for Pu Modernization OCIO. SRNS will draw on the support personnel’s experience and expertise for NNSA Capital Projects.

DUTIES
Provide support to the Project and Program Management support for NCP:

Scope includes but is not limited to:

Ensure inclusion of all IT systems (classified and unclassified) related to communications, work processes, business processes, product and material tracking, product quality, and information management are planned for and executed in the design phase for NNSA Capital Projects
Elicits, analyzes, specifies, validates, and documents the business needs of stakeholders, customers, or end users.
Conducts interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
Support application and network integration for Project and Pu Modernization Program initiatives to support SRPPF Mission.
Lead and coordinate across projects and organizations to effectively plan and implement IT/OT software/hardware development and implementation in support Program and Project strategies, network integration leadership and software quality assurance.
Lead and develop appropriate IT execution strategies and plans to achieve the scope; conducting deployment planning efforts based on requirements from NNSA, Cybersecurity, Nuclear Enterprise Assurance, and Counterintelligence requirements.
Manage and integrate IT/OT products for large-scale complex projects
Support and development of IT and OT risk management frameworks and compliance practices, securing network technologies, client, and server operating systems.
Identifying the necessary CIO organization elements and support the set-up of the appropriate staffing levels.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

Minimum eight years of project management experience in the information technology discipline.
Extensive knowledge of software lifecycle.
Experience / Skills

Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
Develops and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.
Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.
Assists with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options and communicating these back to the business stakeholders.
Strong customer focus with proven ability to drive complex technical issues/challenges to closure.
WORK HOURS: Work schedule will be a nominal 40-hour work week but can be part-time or with interruption between on-site requirements dependent on the support requirements necessary for the project. It is estimated that each standard year will consist of two-thousand and eighty hours.

SECURITY: An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties. Subcontract personnel must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" security clearance. After award, the selected uncleared candidate may be required to apply for a DOE clearance.
