Describe work environment: The Nuclear Planning Specialist develops project workorder plans used to support modifications. The successful candidate will be adept at standard Microsoft Office Suite computer tools and must be able to learn new programs used for planning. Walk-downs and research will be required to develop work plans.
Desired Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Well organized and capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and presentation skills
Able to work in any environment demanded of the workforce, including temperature extremes and elevations
Working knowledge of codes, standards, and technical specifications- preferred.
Working knowledge of plant systems, structure, and component- preferred.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
Three (3) or more years of power plant experience or related heavy industry experience in electrical maintenance and I&C digital is required.
Military equivalent to the above. Nuclear Navy/military maintenance work package planning experience is a plus.
Two (2) years of nuclear power plant or related heavy industry planning experience- preferred.
Experience with Maximo is preferred
Describe physical requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, walk on uneven surfaces and climbing ladders.
