Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Analyst opportunity for our customer in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania to support the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory.
Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory is a U.S. Government-owned research and development facility in the Pittsburgh suburb of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania.
Location: Onsite - Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory (20% Teleworking)
Duration: 3 Years

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory develops advanced naval nuclear propulsion technology for the safety and reliability of our Navy ' s submarine and aircraft fleet. The Bettis Site is located in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, and is one of five locations operated by NNL. The site consists of multiple buildings, structures, and systems that are utilized to meet the mission of supporting the United States Nuclear Fleet. The Materials Evaluation Laboratory (MEL} has reached the end of its service life and has begun planning for Decontamination and Decommissioning (D&D) of the facility.
Our customer is looking for a Project Analyst who will be part of a small team tasked to develop, plan, track, and improve projects for specific scopes of work within the MEL D&D Program. This will occur in conjunction with ongoing operations. The project analyst provides support to project planning and scheduling, resource management, budgeting and cost control, measuring project performance, risk management, coordination and integration of project team efforts, and communication with stakeholders.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Oracle Primavera P6 proficiency.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with project planning, scheduling, and reporting.
Microsoft Excel capabilities.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Previous experience with radiological work, Decontamination and Decommissioning, Government projects, or procuring goods and services.
Experience working on small teams with long term deliverables.
