[Electrical Engineer] Fire Alarm / Emergency Communications Engineer

This position will serve as a Fire Alarm/Emergency Communications Engineer with demonstrated subject matter expertise in industrial Fire alarms and detection, Emergency Communications, Public Address, and Mass Notification requirements.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical direction, guidance, and demonstrated expertise in the development and implementation of Fire Detection and Alarm System designs and Emergency Communications designs.

Develop and implement effective fire detection designs for compliance with fire codes, standards, and regulations.

Develop and implement effective Emergency Communications designs for compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.

Apply working knowledge of National Fire Protection Association Codes, IBC, ISA, and IEEE regulatory requirements to site facilities.

Qualifications:

10+ years of cumulative relevant experience.

NICET Level II (or higher) certification in the applicable subfield.

Availability to work fully locally in the Sugarland TX office.

Degree in Fire Detection, Electrical or Audio Engineering, or a related Engineering field (Associate or BS) a plus, and may offset some required years of experience.

Experience in the use of AlarmCad or similar applications for Fire Alarm Design

Experience with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), IBC, ISA, and IEEE codes and standards.

Experience in 2D Microstation or AutoCAD drawing, S3D Modeling, or Revit Modeling for preparing detailed design deliverables and design packages
