Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Principal Project Controls Scheduler opportunity for our customer in Greenville, SC to support a DOE Construction Design Project.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Working closely with Project Management, Engineering Management, Design Engineer as well as other technical leads to capture schedule activity and logic detail.
Preparing and maintaining integrated Critical Path Method schedule detail in a dynamic environment which includes multiple internal and external participants.
Compiling and present scheduling data in a concise format to facilitate affective communication between various project team members and between various project functional groups.
Analyzing schedule/cost trends and deviations, identifying potential problem areas, and recommending corrective actions to management as needed.
Coordinating with Project Controls cost on Estimate to Completion updates within the current forecast schedule.
Statusing Project Activities within the intents/requirements of EIA-748 EVMS
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in Engineering, Business or applicable field of study and five (5) to ten (10) years of project scheduling experience or a combination of education and directly related experience on Capital EPC Projects (DOE, DoD, Operating Nuclear, etc.) equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed.
Extensive knowledge of P6
EVMS experience is a plus, but not necessary
Good understanding of Progress and Performance
Understanding of Engineering fundamentals
Experience and knowledge in both Cost Control and Change Management
Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience doing planning and scheduling and working in Primavera
EVMS/Government experience preferred, in lieu of solid understanding of Progress/Earned Value and Performance.
Strong communication skills working with Engineers to determine scheduled activities.
Remote work for this position is available. Occasional business trips to the Greenville office may be requested.
