Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Subject Matter Expert 2 & 3 opportunity for our customer in Los Alamos, NM to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).
Per Diem: Available for those who qualify.
Location: Onsite, TA-50/TA-55/PF-04
Work Schedule: Various, including backshift and weekend Travel required
Positions Available: 6-SME 3; 2-SME 4
Clearance: Able obtain and maintain Q
Masters degree in engineering, Science or Business Management. PhD degree preferred at this level. Prefer one of the following: PE, PMP or other industry or professional license or certification.
20+ years of experience; 20 or more years in a highly specialized area applicable to the special or unique needs of the task; recognized as a national leader in applicable subject matter.
CAT II nuclear facility experience
Previous DOE experience
Excellent communication skills
Expert advice in highly specialized area of organization management and/or project management.
Manages and directs the daily tasks required to perform ongoing support of design, construction, startup and/or operations/ maintenance activities of complex high technology systems or projects.
Renders expert opinions on engineering and technical issues, provides recommendations to project design and construction teams in specific areas of expertise.
Provides independent reviews and assessments in areas of specialized expertise and provides guidance to project teams in delivering results on projects of complex, high-technology nature.
Interfaces with management personnel and customer representatives.
Develops and enforces work standards, assigns schedules, reviews work quality, communicates goals, objectives, and policies of the organization to subordinates.
Provides leadership for the project team, coordinates with the functional organizations, and supervises senior personnel within the project organization.
