We are seeking talented and dynamic Structural Engineers who are passionate about engineering and eager to contribute to the design and analysis of critical structures within the nuclear industry.


As a Structural Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the safety, integrity, and resilience of nuclear facilities. You'll work on a challenging project that demand your expertise in designing, evaluating, and optimizing structures that can withstand extreme conditions, and rigorous safety standards.


All work for these positions will be done on-site in Houston, TX.


Responsibilities:


- Plan, organize, and coordinate structural engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects.

- Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and specifications relating to seismic and wind analyses, foundation design, structural framing analyses and design, and bracing analyses and design.

- Conduct construction document reviews as required.



Qualifications:


- BS in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited university.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering, and field experience in the inspection of construction projects.

- Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities.

- Familiarity with CAD applications.

- Working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to structural engineering design.

- Nuclear experience is highly desired.

- Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.

- The Department of Energy requires US Citizenship to work on this project.
