UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a FELLOW SOFTWARE ENGINEER / PEOPLESOFT DEVELOPER opportunity for our customer in Aiken, SC to support the Savannah River Site.

DUTIES
Provide software development and maintenance support for the PeopleSoft Finance Supply Chain Management, PeopleSoft Human Capital Management, and the PeopleSoft Customer Relationship Management software modules. The candidate will be responsible for performing assigned production support problem tickets which require working with customer to replicate problem and may involve research and coding modifications to support the PeopleSoft production operations.

Tasks will require effective and professional communication skills (both written and oral) when interacting with information technology (IT) staff and customers. Act as a mentor to Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) IT staff by:

1. Sharing insights and prior lessons learned from previous PeopleSoft experience.

2. Providing and teaching knowledge about PeopleSoft development tools to accelerate the learning curve and ability of junior SRNS staff to support PeopleSoft modules.

Adhere to all required SRNS IT protocols and standards in the development and support of enterprise computer system applications. Be available on site during normal business hours for questions, resolve problems, etc. This position may require some rotational 24 x 7 on call coverage to support the PeopleSoft applications, as well as occasionally use of a flexible work schedule which may include some overtime (OT) or schedule adjustment as needs arise to support ongoing system operations such as payroll processing, month end or yearend closing, and system upgrades. Generate electronic weekly status reports to IT lead and subcontract technical representative (STR).

Candidate should be able to work with little to no direction to complete assigned software development / maintenance tasks and system / process analyst tasks. Be able to produce quality, easily maintainable application code.


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Position requires a 4-year degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 15 years proven performance in IT assignment or a 4-year degree in non-related field with 20 years proven performance in IT assignment.
• Demonstrated Experience with Supply Chain Management (SCM) Procure-to-Pay, sPro and Quality Assurance.
• Demonstrated Experience with Finance (FIN) Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Commitment Control, and Billing
• Demonstrated familiarity with configuration management tool, STAT.
• Demonstrated familiarity with the text editor tool, Ultra Edit.
• Demonstrated experience with applying PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) images – both full and selective adoption.
• Demonstrated experience with enabling and supporting Fluid pages within PeopleSoft.
• Demonstrated Experience with interfacing with Environmental Management System manufactured by Chemical Safety.
• Demonstrated Experience with Human Resources (HR) eCompensation, eDevelopment and Benefits Administration.
• Demonstrated a minimum of 15 years of experience developing and supporting PeopleSoft software applications and be familiar with Finance modules (primarily General ledger, Project Costing), Supply Chain Management modules (Inventory, Services Procurement, eProcurement), PeopleSoft Human Capital Management modules (HR, Benefits, and Payroll) and the PeopleSoft Customer Relationship Management modules (Help Desk). • People Tools 8.58.18 or higher and supporting PeopleSoft Applications including: Application Designer, Integration Broker, Component
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “L” security clearance.

Work Hours:
A 40-hour work week is scheduled. Candidates must work all 40 hours onsite except at SRNS's discretion may be permitted to work remotely. A set schedule on workdays/hours will be determined upon candidate’s arrival; preferred options are either 4 10-hour days or existing site schedule on AA shift (9-hour days, every other Friday off, Fridays worked is an 8-hour day). Each workday has a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Work week excludes SRNS holidays. As stated in the duties, work hours will require flexibility to work weekends and off hours (as OT or schedule adjustment) during rotational, on call assignments and to support month end and year end closing and any PeopleSoft upgrade or other projects as assigned.

Area Security Access:
The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “L” security clearance. An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties. After award, the selected candidate will be notified when to apply for a clearance if required to perform assigned duties.
