JOB SUMMARY
Duties/Responsibilities:
Position requires a thorough understanding of Construction Engineering principles and ability to apply these principles to field conditions. Experience in the preparation of computer-based construction work execution plans (work Packages) including job specific hazards analysis, i.e. Asset Suite and Assisted Hazard Analysis or equivalent.
� Design output constructability reviews
� Field material take-off & procurement support
� Work execution plan development
� Work Execution Plan Review & Approval

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor�s degree in **(specified discipline) engineering and at least 5 years of practical experience in construction **(specified discipline) field engineering or
Associate's degree in (specified discipline) engineering and 5-10 years of practical experience in construction **(specified discipline) engineering or
High school diploma and 10+ years of practical experience in construction **(specified discipline) engineering
Experience/Skills:
� Capable of interpreting code requirements
� Qualified to perform/ interpret PT's
� Certified Pipe Weld Examiner or capable of obtaining certification
� Experienced in performance of bubble leak tests and vacuum box testing
� Experienced in training welders and operation of a weld test facility
� Capable of climbing / spending extended periods of time in the field.
� Capable of obtaining qualification to work in radiation /contamination areas
� Working knowledge of discipline specific codes and standards
� Previous experience with generating work execution plans (preferably utilizing the Asset Suite work control system)
� Previous experience with generating job hazards analysis
� Previous experience performing material take off and procurement

Work Hours:
A 40-hour work week is scheduled. Construction utilizes a 10 hour per day - four days per week schedule. A standard work week is Monday through Thursday 6:30am - 5:00pm. However, alternate schedules could be employed.
Work week excludes SRS holidays.

Area Security Access:
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license
Personal vehicles operated by candidate must have valid registration.
Personal vehicles operated by candidate must be insured with proof of insurance within the vehicle.
