A Talascend client supporting projects at SRS in Aiken, SC has an immediate need for a Senior Engineer with experience supporting capital projects with risk management programs.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering discipline from accredited university
Minimum of 5 years of nuclear or industrial engineering experience
Ability to use integrated risk management tools such as Active Risk Manager (ARM), Enterprise Risk Management & Opportunities Management Systems (EROMS), SAFRAN software, and cost estimating system Crystal Ball or similar.
Experience with Monte Carlo tool
Previous Risk Management experience at DOE/NNSA sites
Previous experience in support of Risk Management activities
Experience using integrated Risk Modeling software
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance. **Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (“L” or “Q”) within the past two years will have preference.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement DOE G 413.3-7A DOE Risk Management Guide requirements in support of project teams as directed by the PMO Risk management lead.
Support the PMO in project management and integration activities including assessments, document preparation, and EVMS implementation.
Establish a consistent methodology and processes for conducting risk. management activities using an integrated model for the project teams.
Lead project teams and implement Risk & Opportunity tools.
Provide life-cycle risk management guidance.
Develop risk management documentation.
Provide knowledge transfer to project teams in preparation of risk management documentation
Develop and implement corrective action plans from external risk assessments from NNSA, PM-20, and PM-30
Assess Project Teams monthly reporting of risk to provide consistency and improvements
Develop and maintain monthly PMO metrics as requested.
Perform alternative /decision analyses in support of the PMO.
Develop program, project, and task management implementation plans.
