EGS, Inc. is seeking an experienced ES&H, CIH professional to support ongoing projects at LANL. The ideal candidates shall possess the following attributes:

Minimum Job Requirements:

•Background in ventilation system design and performance, particularly with laboratory hoods and portable vacuums.
•Expert level knowledge and experience implementing Industrial Hygiene related risk assessments and corrective actions.
•Demonstrate expert level experience in the identification, application and interpretation of federal codes, standards, and regulations in multiple Industrial Hygiene program areas, including ventilation, chemical safety, beryllium, exposure assessment, non-ionizing radiation, asbestos, oxygen deficiency, confined spaces, and other IH areas.
•Expert level knowledge and application of techniques and procedures for industrial hygiene exposure assessment (both qualitative and quantitative), to include sampling and sampling techniques/instrumentation, sample analysis, and selection/implementation of controls.
•Expert level skill in the preparation and communication of industrial hygiene technical information to technical and non-technical personnel.
•Expert level knowledge and ability to apply the hierarchy of controls to eliminate or mitigate hazards while ensuring mission success.
•Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively within a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
Education/Experience: A bachelor's degree in related technical discipline and a minimum of twelve years of related experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and professional-level experience.

Desired Qualifications:
•Expert level knowledge, and demonstrated application, of DOE and regulatory requirements related to industrial hygiene in a research environment.
•Broad knowledge of Laboratory organizations, operations, activities, and data collection tools.
•An advanced degree and relevant professional certification (CIH, CSP).
