Sr. Pipe and Valve Engineer - WTP - 8182

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Sr. Pipe and Valve Engineer opportunity in Richland, WA to support the Waste Treatment Plant at the Hanford Site.

Location: No Remote/Telework - Full-Time Office/Project
US Citizenship Required

Position Description
Reports to the Plant Design Engineering Group Supervisor.

Job Duties:
Essential duties include reviewing pipe and piping component-related calculations and material evaluations. Prepare and coordinate piping and valve specifications and/or material requisitions, bid evaluations and award recommendations and perform detailed supplier bid technical evaluations and supplier document reviews. Candidate should have past experience with ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry piping codes and standards.

Basic Qualifications:
US Citizenship is required
BS degree with 9 years of related experience
Good knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry codes and standards
Experience in generating and executing material requisitions

Preferred Qualifications:
PE Registration
Previous Bechtel project experience
Previous DOD/DOE project experience
Experience with PipeWorks, TeamWorks and Bechtel Procurement System (BPS) and Non-conformance reporting tools (NCR)

Compensation
Salary is commensurate with education, experience and unique qualifications, and may range between $40 to $87 hourly.
