Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an engineering staffing firm and Tier 1 vendor. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (EPMO) for a 12-36-month contract assignment supporting the Chattanooga office.
Prefer local candidates.

Position Summary:

This position will be primarily remote, with quarterly in-person meetings as needed. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for enhancing the Project Management Performance Monitoring Program, performing project data analysis, lead/support initiatives and benchmarks as a subject matter expert in project management disciplines and acting as part of the enterprise project management office (EPMO) team.

Target W2 Pay Rate- up to $71.78/hourly (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:
EPMO provides governance, oversight, and support for the agency (Nuclear, Transmission, Power Operations, Facilities, Civil Projects, Decommissioning, and Information Technology). There are normally approximately 900 executing projects which range from $400,000 (small projects) to projects exceeding $500 billion. Study phases are also in progress from strategic multi-billion-dollar mega projects. Project complexity as well as total cost are considered for governance and oversight.
The position will evaluate project attributes, scope, and objectives to determine opportunities to identify like-projects for the purposes of variance analysis, oversight, and process optimization.
The Sr. Project Manager will also enhance the version-one framework, implemented in 2022, which provides project variance analysis information to business units to assist in identifying opportunities.
The performance oversight program must be designed to be repeatable and sustainable by the existing team.
The Sr. Project Manager must leverage industry research and utilize benchmarks with peer utilities.

Skills & Qualifications:
Project Management professional principles, practices, and techniques must be used to evaluate project performance and consider the project team's plan to correct and control project schedule, cost, scope, quality, and risk.
The individual must have the ability to manage large project budgets (over $25M or a set of projects with aggregate total over $75M) to effectively provide oversight and evaluation of projects of this size.
Requires specialized in-depth knowledge of project management techniques, experience to resolve in-depth problems, and practical experience in scoping, cost estimating, and risk management.
Ability to look beyond existing methodologies and personal experience to define and resolve complex problems.
Experience in Project Management Office oversight desired.
Power BI and Tableau required.
Performance analysis experience and skills are needed.
Certificate/License - Project Management Institute (PMI) certification as Project Management Professional (PMP) desired.
What percentage of this role can be done remotely? 99%-100% - Quarterly in person meeting is beneficial.
