Design Control Process Engineer

Our client is actively seeking a dynamic and driven Design Control Process Engineer to play a pivotal role in the Natrium Demonstration Reactor Project. As part of a dedicated team of engineers and scientists, you will contribute to the development, oversight, and maintenance of nuclear plant design engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

� Oversight and Collaboration: Provide guidance to partners and subcontractors in developing mechanical system designs for the Natrium reactor. Collaborate seamlessly with engineers across interfacing systems.
� Process Development: Assist in the creation, maintenance, and implementation of procedures, forms, work guides, tools, and training materials related to design control, configuration management, and other engineering processes.
� Continuous Improvement: Identify and resolve inconsistencies and deficiencies in existing processes and procedures, demonstrating a proactive approach to raising and resolving condition reports.
� Team Support: Assist area leads, engineering teams, and project staff in understanding and implementing Natrium processes and procedures.
� Planning and Coordination: Support planning efforts and ensure adherence to schedules for design activities.
� Supplier Oversight: Provide technical direction and oversight of supplier projects, collaborating with the contract administrator to ensure timely delivery of data and other deliverables.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

� Education and Experience: B.S. or higher in a relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university, coupled with 5+ years of direct experience in an engineering work environment.
� Technical Expertise: Knowledge of quality program design and configuration management principles, practices, and tools. Experience in writing and maintaining technical project procedures and training.
� Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with ANSI/NIRMA CM 1.0 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B control programs is preferred.
� Communication Skills: Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to technical excellence.
� Team Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team contributor. Experience working to quality standards on design activities, such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001.
� Integrity and Trust: The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly, display respect, and have a strong desire to foster teamwork.
