Akima Infrastructure Services, LLC (AIS), is actively seeking candidates to support personnel as part of our staff augmentation team supporting the Department of Energy at the Pantex Plant located in Amarillo, Texas.

Qualified applicants must be a US citizen, at least 18 years of age, and able to meet pre-employment requirements including any required physicals, drug screen, and/or background investigation to satisfy clearance requirements from the Department of Energy.

Job Title: Software Coordinator - Pantex
Responsibilities:
- Manages Software Quality Assurance (SQA) for ME software applications including the following:
o Coordinate all software quality assurance (SQA) activities with Quality, Information Solutions & Services
IS&S, and software Subject Matter Experts (SME).
o Create documentation packages for SQA tasks.
o Support software Quality Level Determinations (QLD).
o Prioritization/reporting of ServiceNow tickets supporting SQA.
o Maintain Software Manager (SMan) inventory for Mission Engineering to ensure accuracy is maintained, unused software is purged and recertifications are completed on schedule.
o Maintaining implementation schedules for new ME software applications.
o Planning/tracking annual budgets for software procurements (new applications and license maintenance).
o Communication of lessons learned during software deployments.
o Providing training materials to software users either vendor supported or created by SEAM.

Education and Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited institution.
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in software quality management.
- Pre-employment Drug Screen - external applicants selected for this position are required to successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug test.
- Medical Exam(s) - Job related pre-placement medical examinations may be required for this position.
- Active DOE Q clearance required.
