Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting a Program Manager, Site Nuclear Licensing (Senior)- Level Sr. for a contract assignment supporting the NUCLEAR PLANT DECATUR AL.
(but may be extended depending upon needs at the time). This onsite role offers a W2 hourly base rate with time and a half for overtime, per diem, and mobilization/demobilization.

Pay Rate: $46.73 - $64.23

Contract: 0-72 months

Position will primarily be remote. Any required travel will be reimbursed according to the applicable policy. The primary qualification that we are interested in is a previously licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) at a pressurized water reactor (PWR); preferably a Westinghouse ice condenser plant.
Provides expert planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of site Licensing functions in support of the operations of nuclear plants. Provides support for implementation of the site regulatory and compliance programs with regulatory agencies, both Federal, Local and State. Implements Site Responsibilities for maintenance of and compliance with the current licensing bases of Nuclear Plants.
Support of NRC Inspection Activities, including interface with NRC Inspectors and Coordination with affect Plant Departments. Ensure the timely preparation of well-written Licensing reports and other documentation required by the current licensing basis for submittal to NRC.
These reports must be consistent with policies and prepared in accordance with Procedures for
Completeness and accuracy ensure implementation of the overall Nuclear Power Group Commitment Tracking system, commitment management program, and the program for monitoring and trending nuclear power group compliance with regulatory compliance.


EDUCATION BACHELORS DEGREE IN ENGINEERING OR A SCIENTIFIC DISCIPLINEEXPERIENCE TEN YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH 8 YEARS IN NUCLEAR LICENSING.
FIVE YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A MANAGERIAL OR SUPERVISORY CAPACITY IS DESIRABLE. TWELVE YEARS OF RESPONSIBLE NUCLEAR POWER PLANT EXPERIENCE INVOLVING NUCLEAR PLANT DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION, LICENSING, SAFETY OR QUALITY ASSURANCE. CERTIFICATION/LICENSE, ETC SENIOR REACTOR OPERATOR/STA CERTIFICATION OF LICENSE IS DESIRABLE.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES MUST HAVE PROBLEM ANALYSIS AND DECISION-MAKING SKILLS; GOOD ORGANIZATION AND PLANNING SKILLS TO EFFECTIVELY MANAGE DIVERSE TASKS AND PROJECTS. MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS TO BE ABLE TO EXPRESS COMPLEX IDEAS SUCCINCTLY AND CLEARLY USING DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES, AS NEEDED. CANDIDATE MAY BE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A SECURITY CLEARANCE BASED ON POSITION / ACCESS REQUIREMENTS AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS.
Experience Ten years experience with 8 years in nuclear licensing. Five years experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is desirable. Twelve years of responsible nuclear power plant experience involving nuclear plant design, construction, operation, licensing, safety or quality assurance.
Certification/License, etc Senior Reactor Operator/STA certification of license is desirable.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Must have problem analysis and decision-making skills; good organization and planning skills to effectively manage diverse tasks and projects. Must have excellent communication skills to be able to express complex ideas succinctly and clearly using different perspectives, as needed. Candidate may be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance based on position / access requirements and essential job functions. Start Time: 8:00 AM

Additional Job Details: Position is for a member of the Fleet License Renewal Team in the Plant Operations Group. The successful candidate should have held a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) License at a Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR); preferably at a Westinghouse ice condenser plant.
