GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking an Electrical Inspector to join our team. This position is full-time and will serve the Oak Ridge National Laboratory Oak Ridge, TN. This role is anticipated to be short-term (6 months) with possibility of extension. 

OVERVIEW
Inspect electrical equipment identified in UTB's Unlisted Electrical Equipment Database.
Work closely with, and under the direction of, current UTB EEIs to identify and perform equipment inspections and provide a report to the UTB EEI for review. As needed, the report will be used to provide guidance to UTB staff members to make the necessary modifications to equipment.
Responsible for the final approval or rejection of equipment.
Responsible for making the final determination of equipment status based on the subcontractor's inspection report.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, physics, or a related field and 5+ years in design, fabrication, and/or maintenance of electrical utilization equipment.
