Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Engineer opportunity in Oak Ridge, TN at the Y-12 National Security Complex.

Clearance: Active DOE L or Q (or DOD Secret of Top-Secret) security clearance preferred. Uncleared candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.
Citizenship: United States Citizenship required

Responsibilities:
Provide Project Engineering support and coordination for Enriched Uranium Operations (EUO) Production Microwave initiatives to increase equipment reliability and process throughput.
Provide Project Engineering support necessary to complete design and implementation of data acquisition network and remote monitoring capability for out gassing oven equipment used by Special Materials Operations (SMO) Production personnel.
Provide technical integration, leadership, guidance, and direction to other multi-disciplined engineering teams as requested for high profile plant initiatives and will appropriately apply ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) requirements for work in nuclear facilities.
Plan and direct the engineering activities on projects.
Establish detailed project design scope, budgets, and schedules.
Professionally coordinate engineering efforts with Production, Maintenance, Project Management, Construction, Startup, and Project Controls personnel.
Review project engineering progress against approved schedules and take corrective action when required.

Minimum Qualifications:
ABET accredited BS degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
10+ years of direct experience required, or an MA or MS with 10 plus years of experience.
US Citizenship is required.
Active Q clearance is preferred. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance.
