Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking for a 2-year contract assignment –
"Realty Representative" Location: Chattanooga, TN
This position offers a W2 hourly
Proposed start date: 05/06/24
- Pay rate range: $35.23 to $44.04 per hour

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Applies and maintains broad contemporary knowledge of principles and practices associated with the legal job family (realty assets)
- Plans, researches, analyses, and optimizes business processes
- Travels a 7-state service region and performs, coordinates, or leads the activities of title abstracting, appraising, and negotiating on assigned projects
- Conducts in-house land rights analysis using records
- Reports project status to various program managers within the organization and internally to the management team
- Accountable for meeting critical path project dates for which they have responsibility
- Researches, writes, and reviews reports of value, title condition, and negotiation status
- Recommends solutions to complex problems that arise during the purchase and sale of realty rights subsequent to detailed and thorough analysis
- Represents realty assets (RA) at public, open-house meetings for projects which may involve acquiring or disposing of realty rights; addresses more complicated issues that may arise subsequent to the meeting
- Performs and coordinates all relocation activities related to the acquisition of real property improvements
- Reads and interprets topographic, tax, reservoir, and engineering maps as related to construction/design of new facilities and displays ability to intelligently discuss issues with the general public, planners, and engineers

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated knowledge of all facets of public acquisition processes as related to corridor easement development and fee-simple site assemblage
- Proven knowledge of engineering principles used during planning and surveying for facilities and various methods of constructing same
- Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle driver license
- Must be bondable and able to obtain a notary public commission
- Experience and education as proven by an appraisal license (certified general), SRr/WA designation, CCIM designation, BBA- real estate, or other related course of study
