JOB SUMMARY
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide design and construction oversight of structural engineering tasks to SRNS. Structural engineering tasks include: analysis of structural systems for both static and dynamic loads using manual computation and computer programs; design of concrete structures; design of steel, aluminum, stainless steel, timber and composite structures; foundation and anchorage design; structural analysis for impact, overpressure, and other accident conditions; preparation of CSI specifications; and review of vendor documents.
Engineering services shall be provided using SRNS processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRNS.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
BS Degree in Civil Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in either Civil or Structural Engineering

Experience/Skills:
• Experience with 2D Microstation CADD.
• Previous SRS Design Engineering Experience.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in design and analysis of nuclear or industrial facilities.
• Working knowledge of STAAD.
• Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards such as IBC, AISC (ASD and LRFD), ACI, AWS, NFPA, and OSHA.
• Ability to perform field walk-downs.
• Possessed an active DOE clearance (“L” or “Q”) within the past two years (Preferred)
• Reference check to evaluate performance capability may occur.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance
• Telephone number of candidates is required to validate resume/submittal data.
• Offeror must identify sub-tier company if applicable with proposal.
• U.S. Citizen
• Offeror must identify if candidate is actively supporting SRNS via full service employment or a staff augmentation task order agreement (includes subtier agreements).

Work Hours:
A 40 hour work week is scheduled. SRS utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/lOs (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch

Area Security Access:
• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance. Supplier shall possess a positive FOCI determination from DOE which includes “Q” security clearance level. An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties. After award, the selected candidate will be notified when to apply for a clearance based on specific work assignments. Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (“L” or “Q”) within the past two years are preferred.
