[Project Engineer] Project Engineer/STI 3055

Spectra Tech has an immediate need for Project Engineers in Oak Ridge, TN.

Provide Project Engineering support and coordination for Enriched Uranium Operations (EUO) Production Microwave initiatives to increase equipment reliability and process throughput.
Provide Project Engineering support necessary to complete design and implementation of data acquisition network and remote monitoring capability for out gassing oven equipment used by Special Materials Operations (SMO) Production personnel.
Provide technical integration, leadership, guidance, and direction to other multi-disciplined engineering teams as requested for high profile plant initiatives and will appropriately apply ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) requirements for work in nuclear facilities.
Plan and direct the engineering activities on projects.
Establish detailed project design scope, budgets, and schedules.
Professionally coordinate engineering efforts with Production, Maintenance, Project Management, Construction, Startup, and Project Controls personnel.
Review project engineering progress against approved schedules and take corrective action when required.
The nature of many of these large expense-funded Production capability initiatives are such they fall outside the conventional capital projects organization, need near-term attention, and require the coordination and integration of technical resources both internal and external to the ME organization.
Education/Experience: BA/BS Degree from an ABET accredited school in a technical discipline, plus 10 years or more of direct experience required, or an MA or MS with 10 plus years of experience.

Preferred Active Q Clearance or ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance.
