Title: Fuels Engineer (CANDU)

Job Summary:
Perform conceptual and detail design engineering work on Fuel Handling equipment and systems, and/or Fuel Handling process related D2O, oil hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Coordinating large scale projects of moderate technical and commercial complexity.
Prepare design documentation such as design requirements, design descriptions, design specifications, technical specifications, component specifications, test procedures and plans, commissioning procedures, registration design submissions packages, flow sheets, detail drawings, general arrangements and equipment layouts.
Perform activities related to machine design, and in support of manufacturing, assembly, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical and process controls systems.
Perform component sizing and selection, and design-based calculations in support of design.
Review design reports, analysis reports, calculations, documents and drawings in support of design verification.
Interface with other engineers disciplines to obtain data and resolve issues relevant to design.
Conduct technical, conceptual and detail design meetings in front of peers, clients and suppliers

Education Requirements
Engineering degree (Mechanical, Civil or nuclear)
5+ ys CANDU related engineering experience

Physical Requirements lift 50 lbs
