Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting for a Sr. Automation Technologist, for a 12-month contract assignment supporting the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant near Richland, WA.
This onsite role offers a W2 hourly base rate with time and a half for overtime, and mobilization / demobilization.

U.S. Citizenship is required.
Target W2 Pay Rate - $70.00 per hour
9/80 Work Schedule with every other Friday off

Project Overview:
The Hanford Tank Waste Treatment Plant will use vitrification technology to process and solidify radioactive and chemical waste stored at the Hanford site. This position is located 22 miles north of Richland and works a 9/80 schedule, offering every other Friday off.

Responsibilities:
The primary role of the Engineering Technologist is to support the users by providing access or creating user accounts to software and applications supported by Engineering Automation. He/she will perform routine data quality checks and support the EGS, Lead, and engineers in tracking of information, locating documents and/ or document preparation.
The Engineering Technologist supports training presentations, including preparing training documents and slides.
The Engineering Technologist supports in the preparation of change management documents under the engineer supervision.
The Engineering Technologist assures the work is performed on schedule with high quality standards for nuclear facilities.
In addition, it will be required that the candidate has excellent communication skills and can demonstrate leadership, quality, and safety values within the work group and to interfacing disciplines.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree plus 1 year or less of related experience
US Citizenship Required
Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Minimum Qualifications
Proficient in software tools (MS Excel, Word, Access, Power Point)
Computer Skills: A strong aptitude for utilizing the computer to collect, organizes, and presents technical data through the use of relational databases.
Technical Skills: Analyze data within technical documents to identify relevant information and properly classify that information so that it can be sorted and readily retrieved for later analysis and use by project staff.
Analytical Skills: Possess the desire and ability to monitor large quantities of information and employ efficient extraction techniques in response to requests for information.
Communication Skills: As a member of an Engineering Automation team, communicate with other data analysts, engineers, technical experts, and management.
Attention to Detail: Possess the ability to accurately identify and capture relevant technical details from within large documents and data sets.

New university grad plus 1 year work experience
