The Westinghouse Information Risk Management team is seeking a passionate candidate looking to explore exciting career opportunities in cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will be seeking a degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or another related field. As a cybersecurity intern at Westinghouse, you will be responsible for:

Assisting the cybersecurity team with various tasks such as conducting vulnerability assessments, analyzing security logs, and developing security policies and procedures.
Learning from experienced cybersecurity professionals and gaining hands-on experience with various tools and technologies such as firewalls, antivirus software, encryption, incident response, and authentication systems.
Supporting security awareness and phishing simulation campaigns.
Collaborating with other IT interns to share best practices and learn from each other.

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

Pursuing or completed a bachelor's degree in information technology, cyber security or another computer related field.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred.
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Completion of Sophomore year college by May 2024
