JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND DUTIES

  • Member of the Component Structural Analysis group performing engineering evaluations and analyses of technical products and services within the structural mechanics field.
  • Responsible for hand calculations as well as Finite Element Analysis calculations performed in ANSYS to verify the qualification of components of nuclear power plants following appropriate standards.
  • Thorough documentation of analyses in English and French.
  • Propose integrated solutions to technical challenges that may arise during projects.
  • Participate to integrated and international project teams and communicate to involved parties.
  • Possibility to travel to nuclear site to support field interventions or customer meetings.
TECHNICAL/ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • MS degree in Mechanical engineering
  • This position is for an early career engineer (0 to 3 years of experience).
  • Interested in stress analysis of mechanical components, Finite Element Analysis software for analysis of structures
  • Interested in the Nuclear Industry
  • Fluent in English and French with proven reporting skills
  • Previous work experience with ANSYS APDL and/or workbench is plus
