Commercial Internship, Springfields, UK 12 month placement Day to Day:You will be responsible for:
- Supporting and managing communications with the customer.
- Collecting and analysing financial and other data to support offers to the customer.
- Understanding the contracts between Westinghouse and the customer and providing insight to support negotiations and resolve issues.
- Preparing reports and positioning papers for internal and external use.
- Supporting bidding and offer activities to win new business.
- Supporting the management and negotiation of contracts.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in business, law, finance, a scientific discipline or engineering (other disciplines will be considered).
- Have an interest in pursuing a career in the nuclear industry.
- Have an interest in working in sales or contract drafting/management/negotiation or bidding and offers.
- Be UK based and able to work from our office at Springfields, Preston, at least 3 days per week.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, in particular MS Excel and MS Word.
- Self-motivated and a positive team player.
- Good organisational skills, ability to produce work to high standards and ensure deadlines are met.
