We are seeking an I&C ENGINEER with the following qualifications:
DUTIES:
Provide support engineering services to assigned SRMC Engineering Teams. Engineering support services include engineering analysis, walkdowns, design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to: P&IDs; Control Logics; Loop Diagrams; Instrument Indices; Setpoint Lists; Instrument and Control Valve Specifications; DCS and PLC Design; Instrument Location and Installation Design; Panel Layouts; and Vendor Document Review.
Individuals at times will be required to travel off site to interface with vendors, fabricators, and other Engineering organizations.
Engineering services will be provided using SRMC processes and procedures. Programmatic guidance will be provided by SRMC.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
BS Degree in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, I&C Engineering, or current registration as a Professional Engineer in in one of the above disciplines.
Experience/Skills:
Candidate must demonstrate five (5) years design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry. Candidate must demonstrate design experience with PLCs and distributed control systems.
Candidate demonstrating experience in 2D MicroStation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) is preferred. Candidate must have the ability to walkdown systems in the field.
AREA SECURITY ACCESS:
A security clearance is not required.
ESTIMATED DURATION:
The Period of Performance shall be for one (1) year from date of award with the option to extend for one (1) 1-year period.
