Industrial Hygiene & Safety Professional

Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop, recommend, and implement programs, policies, and procedures for health and safety hazards.
Provide daily industrial hygiene and safety support or manage institutional health and safety programs.
Contribute expertise to develop objectives and achieve goals effectively.
Develop advanced concepts, techniques, and standards based on professional principles.
Solve complex issues creatively, impacting future concepts, products, or technologies.
Create formal networks for coordination among groups and key decision makers.
Use independent judgment to determine courses of action for achieving objectives.
Use wide latitude in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and minimum twelve years related experience, or equivalent combination.
Strong IH with CIH (primary focus) and/or CSP certifications.
Ability to train and mentor others.
Proficiency in sampling, reviewing work documents, and conducting exposure assessments.
Flexibility to work across various projects.
Knowledge of beryllium hazards.
Ability to obtain Q-clearance.
Experience with Oracle and CTS software preferred.
Excellent communication skills for interactions with various levels of staff.
Physical ability for extended standing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
