Job Description/Duties:

•Set-up and operate a variety of machine tools to cut or grind metal and similar materials into parts or products using precise dimensions.
•Verify dimensions and alignments with precise measuring instruments (i.e., micrometers, vernier gauges, dial indicators, and gauge blocks).
•Repair turbine rotors, journals, seals, diaphragms, bearings, pump valves, etc.

Qualifications/Required Skills:

•2 years of experience in the nuclear, oil, Navy shipyard, or military field OR 2 years technical training as a machinist.
•Pass a nuclear background check and drug screening.
•High School diploma or GED.
