Lead Project Controls Cost Specialist – Onsite in Tennessee

Our client, a global leader in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), is seeking a Lead Project Controls Cost Specialist to join their team onsite in Tennessee. This role will play a critical part in integrating cost control systems, forecasting project performance, and managing earned value metrics for a large-scale DOD project involving electrical and mechanical infrastructure.

What You’ll Do:
✅ Oversee the integration of Cobra cost engine with Oracle Primavera P6 for cost tracking and forecasting
✅ Manage Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Complete (EAC) validation
✅ Drive earned value management (EVM) strategies, ensuring accuracy and compliance
✅ Lead the monthly business rhythm process, variance analysis, and reporting (Format 1-5)
✅ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, influencing project outcomes through cost insights

What You Bring:
🔹 25+ years of experience in cost management for large government EPC projects
🔹 Strong earned value management expertise, including baseline development & change control
🔹 Proficiency in Deltek Cobra and Oracle Primavera P6
🔹 Exceptional communication and leadership skills
🔹 A four-year degree (or equivalent experience)
