Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer � Piping 2 with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to join our team at Euharlee, GA. This role focuses on delivering detailed 3D piping and equipment designs for retrofit, environmental, and new generation projects in the power generation sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop 3D piping and equipment designs using AutoPLANT and/or AVEVA design tools.

Produce 2D orthographic and isometric drawings, P&IDs, and pipe support designs.

Collaborate closely with engineers and other multidisciplinary designers to ensure safe, efficient, and effective designs.

Apply applicable codes and standards to design work.

Conduct field data gathering to support the development of accurate design deliverables.

Prepare material take-offs and support construction planning activities.

Review and check design drawings and documents for accuracy and compliance.

Work efficiently across multiple large, concurrent projects.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in mechanical piping system design, preferably in power generation or similar heavy industrial facilities.

Proven experience with 3D modeling tools for piping system layout and designs.

Familiarity with AutoPLANT and/or AVEVA software.

Proficiency in creating 2D orthographic and isometric drawings, P&IDs, and pipe support designs.

Experience with checking design drawings/documents and preparing material take-offs.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with plant staff, design engineering teams, and vendors.

Self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
