REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Education:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least 5 - 7 years of practical experience in construction inspection or related areas. An associate�s degree and 7 - 9 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent. A high school diploma and 10 - 14 years of practical experience would also be considered equivalent. Certification with continuing technical training is required for performance of inspections and surveillance activities. Specialized training may also be required to support certain technical areas.

Experience/Skills:
� Practical field experience in electrical and instrumentation and controls (I&C) quality control.
� Well-developed organizational skills with good communication talents.
� Foster a work environment that promotes safety, quality, openness, trust, communication, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
� Develop, revise, and perform peer reviews of Quality Control Inspection Plans related to electrical and I&C, in accordance with Design Output documents, Codes, and Standards.
� Perform field related inspections in accordance with Quality Control Inspection Plans. Document inspection results on applicable inspection records and issue Non-Conformance reports as required.
� Review product and process compliance with all specified drawings, specifications, and other requirements through inspection and/or review of supplied materials and equipment.

Nice to Have:
- Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred.
