Sr Structural Engineer
Project: Structural / Seismic Analysis Power to support Uprate Project
Pay Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate’s requested rate
Duration: Initially 11 months (could be up to 2 years)
Schedule: 40 Hours per week
PD: $178.00/day (7 days per week)
Mob / Demob: $500.00 each way ($1,000 total)
Desired Qualifications / Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Engineering degree and commercial nuclear experience is required.
Piping and heavy lift experience preferred along with considerable experience in large industrial facilities performing load analysis related to large structures, heavy lifts, large pipe supports, and heavy load paths.
Responsibilities:
• Work on a wide range of structural engineering Nuclear projects involving steel, concrete.
• The role will focus on the repair/rehabilitation/restoration of existing buildings/piping, etc.
• Plan and conduct site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Execute the construction-administration phase of projects, including bid assistance, submittal review, site meetings, observations of completed work, etc.
Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 – 60 lbs.
