GSE Programs & Performance�is looking for a�License Renewal�expert to serve as a�Senior Engineer�in providing both day-to-day and project-based support to nuclear utilities in the areas of Licensing, License Renewal Application, License Renewal Implementation, and Subsequent License Renewal. The individual will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality in the deliverable products. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships in support of business development by continuously identifying, maintaining, and growing business opportunities.

Pay Range- $120,000 to $150,000 annually, DOE.

Essential Functions:
This position will require the skillsets of a site Aging Management Coordinator, working closely with the client License Renewal team to determine project scopes/needs, identify resource and schedule requirements, and execute the project work to provide deliverables on-time and on-budget.
Provide technical expertise and support in the areas of licensing, license renewal implementation, subsequent license renewal applications, aging management program development and oversight, commitment/decommitment support, NRC meetings, and the GALL.
Develop scoping, screening, scheduling, aging management programs (AMPs), AMP reviews, FSAR updates, technical specification changes, and procedure updates to support license renewal applications and implementation.
Prepare, Review, and Approve White Papers, Formal Reports, and other deliverables addressing client License Renewal needs.
Participate in self-assessments for License Renewal teams at sites.
Develop additional business through client interactions.
Proposal Development support.
Attend and participate in industry-specific conferences, including License Renewal Task Force meetings, and working groups, as needed.

Education & Experience:
BS in Engineering and 5+ years of utility experience with utility-provided operations/ engineering systems training or the equivalent in education and experience
2+ years of experience and understanding in nuclear power plant license renewal as an Aging Management Coordinator or 5+ years of experience as an Aging Management Program Owner with knowledge of the overall License Renewal process and how the programs work together.
Licensing and/or operations experience preferred.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions:
General office environment.
Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing �and walking for up to 10% of the time.�
The working environment is generally favorable.�
Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.�
This position is a remote position with occasional travel.
