Looking for (5) Fellow Engineers - Structural Analyst
Will close to submissions on 5/29
Education & Experience: An advanced degree and experience, a Ph.D. degree and about 10 years' experience. OR A MS degree and 12 years' experience. OR A BS degree and approximately 15 years' experience.
Top Skills & Years of Experience:
- Candidate must demonstrate 8 years recent experience in design and analysis of NRC or DOE regulated nuclear facilities.
- Experience with finite element analysis is required.
- Candidate must demonstrate working knowledge of STAAD, ANSYS or ABAQUS or similar computer codes.
- Candidate must demonstrate working knowledge of National Codes and Standards; specifically, IBC, AISC (ASD, LRFD, & N690), ACI (318 & 349) and ASCE (4, 7 & 43).
- Candidate must be able to perform field walk-downs to document as-installed conditions.
- Contributes to advancing knowledge in field of expertise through various avenues such as internal and external publications and professional
society presentations.
Nice to Have:
- Current registration as a Professional Engineer in either Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience in analysis for structural response to explosion (blast/detonation and deflagration)
- Experience with DOE natural phenomena hazard (NPH), Standard 1020, criteria
- Previous SRS experience
