Sr. Business Analyst � Plan Scheduler / Sr. Project Control Specialist
Duties
� Organize, develop, analyze, and maintain project controls, financial analysis, or estimating tools to monitor objectives and support cost and schedule control.
� Prepare management reports identifying variances in execution strategy and propose solutions.
� Under limited supervision, perform complex Planning & Scheduling activities including short-, mid-, and long-range planning using integrated, resource-loaded schedules.
� Develop and define schedule logic to ensure baseline milestones and award fee objectives are met.
� Analyze schedule performance and trends; recommend corrective actions to address constraints.
� Review and improve planning technology and methodologies to enhance resource utilization.
� Develop milestone schedules for optimal resource usage and secure management concurrence when needed.
� Analyze deviations from schedule baseline and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
� Provide supervision and oversight for planning and scheduling teams, including guidance on critical planning tasks.
� Lead schedule review meetings and play a primary role in Plan of the Day (POD) scheduling discussions.
� Disseminate scheduling guidelines, rules, and procedures across assigned departments or projects.
� May take a lead role in the planning and scheduling of a large-scale project, department, or facility.
Work Hours
� Standard 40-hour work week.
� Schedules may include: 5/8s (8 hours/day, 5 days/week), 4/10s (10 hours/day, 4 days/week), or 9/80s (9 hours/day, alternating 5 and 4-day weeks).
� Each workday includes a 30-minute lunch break.
� Overtime may be required at the discretion of the Manager.
Required Qualifications
� Master�s degree in business, construction management, technical, engineering, or related field with 2 years of practical experience.
� OR Bachelor's degree with 5 years of practical experience.
� OR Associate�s degree with 8 years of practical experience.
� OR High school diploma with 12 years of relevant experience.
Experience / Skills
� Strong computer skills and high proficiency in automated systems for accounting, budgeting, cost management, and estimating.
� Solid understanding of project management and tactical-level cost/schedule control.
� Knowledge of operations, maintenance, project startup, and construction management.
� Experience in conceptual estimating, coordinating with technical personnel and engineers, and understanding field construction methods, labor, and equipment.
� Ability to quantify work condition impacts on costs.
� Excellent problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

� Security clearance is not required (Uncleared).
