GSE Solutions leverages over five decades of proven industry experience in advanced engineering services and software, and is searching for an experienced Business Development Manager.
GSE specializes in providing consulting engineering services to various industries, including the nuclear power generation, utility industry, and operating facilities, including studies, calculations, analysis, drawing revisions, design changes, etc.
Pay Range: $90,000 to $110,000, plus commission DOE.

Essential Functions
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with utility and industrial clients, with a strong focus on engineering programs and thermal performance.
Collaborate with internal experts to craft technical proposals and customized client solutions.
Serve as the key point of contact for clients, understanding their challenges and aligning GSE�s services to meet their needs.
Deliver technical presentations, attend client meetings and industry events, and represent GSE at conferences.
Maintain your sales pipeline, track activity, and report progress using CRM tools.
Stay current on industry regulations, trends, and key drivers (e.g., license renewal, ASME, maintenance rule).

Proven ability to close sales
Strong technical knowledge of nuclear power plant systems, especially balance-of-plant and thermal performance.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor�s degree in engineering (nuclear, mechanical, chemical, or related) preferred; equivalent technical experience considered (6�10 years).
5�10 years of business development or sales experience in the nuclear power industry, with a proven track record of selling technical services or solutions to utilities.
Familiarity with license renewal, aging management, engineering software, and performance monitoring tools (e.g., DVR, plant simulators).
Experience or working knowledge of engineering programs such as ASME Code, In-Service Testing (IST), Appendix J, Snubbers, AOV/MOV, ISI, Risk-Informed Programs, FAC, UPTI, CP, Raw/Service Water, GL 89-13, BACC, and EQ.
Understanding of utility procurement processes and established relationships within the industry is a plus.
