Meridian Services Group is hiring a Cost Engineer to work on a long-term project in Indiana. This position is a 1-year contract and we are looking to fill this position ASAP!

This position offers excellent compensation, Mob/Demob, per diem for those that qualify, and access to company benefits!!!

The ideal candidate will have experience in the utility industry, transmission and distribution, or commercial power generation.

Cost Engineer Responsibilities-

Conduct research to create forecasts about the cost of a project.

Create estimation reports for the project manager.

Collaborate with the project manager to make decisions about resource allocation.

Anticipate potential risks and develop preventative solutions.

Assist with feasibility studies and strategizing to increase margins of profit of a project.

Identify costs and overall budget, EVM, and ensuring the project is on track. Review and assess project timelines.

Cost Engineer Qualifications-

Bachelor�s degree

At least 6 years of work experience in the construction industry.

Astute in analytical and problem-solving skills. Structured organization skills, highly resourceful, and dependable. Driven and motivated with strong attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $90.00 - $105.00 per hour

Office Location for this phase is Valparaiso IN - may relocate office to job site area after project starts - which would be around LaPorte IN

This phase requires on-site / in the office support, which is on a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office (T, W, Th) - Mon and Friday option to work remote (Typically "Local Remote").
