Electrical Integrator / Sr. Electrical Designer � Fluor (Aiken, SC)
Position Overview
� Location: Onsite in Aiken, SC with business travel to Greenville, SC as needed.
� Pay Rate: $82�$97/hour depending on benefits selected.
� Reimbursable GSA per diem available to those that qualify
� This position provides essential technical knowledge and intermediate-level electrical design support using 2D/3D CADD tools.
General Responsibilities
� Prepare and check electrical designs of intermediate complexity using 3D modeling and 2D CADD tools.
� Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines, project management, vendors, and clients.
� Perform work in compliance with the Project Quality Plan, scope, cost, and schedule baselines.
� Conduct bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations.
� Support procurement including review of vendor submittals.
� Respond to construction RFIs and field changes during construction administration.
� Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Job Requirements
� U.S. Citizenship required.
� Associate degree in a related technical field and minimum ten (10) years of related experience.
� Knowledge of applicable DOE, federal, state, and local codes and standards.
� Effective communication skills across diverse audiences.
� Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic presentation tools.
� Experience with EPC services for industrial projects.
� Skilled in 3D modeling and 2D CADD in multi-discipline environments.
Discipline-Specific Job Requirements
� Experience in electrical, I&C, or communication drafting/design.
� Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation for 2D drafting.
� Experience with 3D modeling using Intergraph Smart3D (S3D).
� Capable of field walkdowns and developing/modifying electrical drawings independently.
� Advanced calculations: lighting, raceway sizing, wire sizing.
� Intermediate calculations: voltage drop, cable pulling, panel board and breaker sizing.
� Perform material take-offs and provide field assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
� Familiarity with commercial availability and cost of materials.
� Design experience under ASME NQA-1 for nuclear facilities.
� Field experience on EPC projects.
� Project work for DOE, federal agencies, nuclear, pharma, or biotech sectors.
� Advanced skills in 2D/3D CAD systems and Intergraph SmartPlant tools.
� Deep understanding of electrical design requirements for hazardous and standard environments.
