** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Engineer to fill a 1-year assignment in the Baxley, Georgia area.

Rates: $65.00 - $72.00 per hour
Per diem if you are qualified.

Education:
Accredited bachelor's degree
Experience:
7-10 years of related experience
Engineer with previous experience working at the Plant as a design engineer, system engineer, program engineer, maintenance engineer, or procurement engineer.
Previous experience in procurement engineering is preferred.
Must be familiar with engineering processes such as ABNs, ADCs, and Equivalency Evaluations.
Must be familiar with Maximo and D2 Applications.
Job Duties:
Responsible for applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power related systems.
Supports estimate preparation, develops design options, and prepares construction specifications.
Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages.
Job responsibilities:
Creating a safe work environment by putting safety first, understanding the process used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance
Understanding the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance
Understanding design practices and work processes, using all software applications used in design, understanding industry and the Companys design standards
Supporting design standard and criteria development for the system
Supporting construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations
Estimating material for projects
Transmitting construction packages
Supporting specifications.

Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.

This position does not require driving (excluding commute)

This position does not require personal protective equipment

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
