We are currently recruiting for four (4) Senior Work Control Planners for project at Los Alamos.

Summary
Develops and/or reviews work packages including time, material, and labor estimates, written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and/or safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a given facility or area. Specific planning duties may be related to mechanical, electrical, chemical and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures and may also include resolving work restraints and bringing work packages to final closure.

Must have BS and 12+ years direct experience or 20+ years direct experience is non-degreed. DOE or commercial nuclear background needed.

Top Skills include experience with Building Systems (boilers, HVAC), Maintenance construction background (facility maintenance), procedure writing and Work Control experience. Having a PPA (Policy Procedure Writer) certification is a plus. Software used: Maximo, X-Maximum and Hitachi programs.

This position is 100% on-site (No PD authorized), Work schedule is 4 X 10 per week. Will be supporting TA 16-969.
Must be able to obtain/maintain a DOE "Q" Security Clearance.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., walking up stairs, extended standing, using ladders and doing walk-downs.
