Job Title: Senior Safety Verification and Validation Engineer
Location: Remote or Bellevue, WA, USA
Compensation: $72-$90/hr.
12-month contract

Position Overview:
We are urgently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Safety Verification and Validation Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting the design and licensing of advanced nuclear reactor technology. This impactful role requires deep technical expertise as well as a commitment to safety and innovation within the nuclear energy sector.

Qualifications and Skills:

*Master's or Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering or related field, with 5+ years of nuclear industry experience.

*Extensive experience with safety software verification and validation, particularly nuclear safety analysis tools.

*Strong understanding of nuclear thermal-hydraulic fundamentals and familiarity with NRC Regulatory Guide 1.203.

*Proficient in programming languages such as Fortran, C++, or Python, with a track record of quantitative analysis and collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams.
