Job Title: Vitrification Operators

Will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining vitrification systems used to test the treatment of simulated hazardous or radioactive waste into stable glass forms. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient processing of materials using high-temperature melters and associated support systems. Operators work closely with scientists, engineers, and maintenance staff, and safety teams to perform testing, which will be defined in test and operating procedures, that will validate the performance of the physical systems and process chemistry. maintain continuous operation in a highly regulated industrial environment.

All operators will receive facility specific training on all operating systems.
