Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least 15 years of experience relevant to the functional technical area supported. Associate’s degree and 18 years relevant experience. High School Diploma and 20+ years of relevant experience.
Top Skills & Years of Experience:
- Candidate must demonstrate a minimum of 20 years of operation and technical experience in the Tritium Facilities (NNSA) or the commercial nuclear industry.
- Candidate must have been certified/qualified in one of the Tritium Facilities and has in-depth knowledge of Tritium Processes to include (Unloading, Mixing, Z-Bed Recovery and Mass Spectrometry etc.).
- Previous experience with the use and implementation of DOE Order 426.2, 4B Manual, 2S Manual Conduct of Operation, and related directives and standards.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Oral Board processes, Comprehensive Exams, JPM’s and Technical Study Guides for Operation/Engineering/Maintenance.
- Candidate must demonstrate personal accountability for facility/project schedules, deadlines, budgets, and the safe performance of work; and proficiency in performing Nuclear Technical Support assessments.
Nice to Have:
- Demonstrated previous Tritium experience is preferred.
- Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred.
